Pesticide Free Vegetables?

So if you buy some fresh veggies and find insects, larvae etc alive on some, is it a good sign? A sign that its not doused in Pesticide?

As perhaps you would know, the bane of green revolution was that it made a lot of crops pest resistant due to over usage ...so it could be that due to mutation in the next generation you find them alive.....so actually it could simply mean the opposite.....; June 15, 2008 at 6:00:00 AM GMT+5:30
